Please review the answers below for important information about Exemplary Pageants.

1. Are males allowed to compete in Exemplary Pageants?

Our in-person competition is for females only. However, males may apply for virtual Exemplary Ambassador titles.

2. How many divisions do you have?

There are five divisions based on age and marital status: Miss Teen, Miss, Ms., Mrs., and Ms. Elite.

3. How is age division determined?

Age division is determined by your age as of January 1 of the pageant year in which you are competing.

4. Do you offer a virtual pageant option?

Yes. Exemplary Ambassadors are considered Virtual National and/or North American Titleholders.

5. When is your first National Pageant?

Our first National Pageant will be held April 9–11, 2027, in the Greater Nashville, Tennessee area.

6. What support is provided to contestants and titleholders?

State and Regional Titleholders will be paired with Inaugural Queens in their respective divisions. The CEO and Executive Director are also available by email for questions and support.

7. What is included in the entry fee?

The entry fee includes a State or Regional Title, crown, official pageant T-shirt, tote bag, pageant swag, orientation swag bag, free admission for family and friends to pageant competitions, and free downloadable pageant weekend photos.

8. Are travel and meal expenses included?

No. Travel and meal expenses are the responsibility of the contestant/titleholder.

9. What are the mandatory competition categories?

All contestants must compete in Interview, Opening Number, State Costume, and Formalwear/Gown.

10. Are there optional categories?

No. There are no optional categories at this time.

11. Are entry fees refundable?

There is a $200 non-refundable deposit. No refunds of any kind will be issued after January 1, 2027.

12. Are scholarships available?

Yes. Exemplary Pageants will award two in-person scholarships for the 2026–2027 pageant season.

13. Are platforms required?

Yes. All contestants and titleholders must have a platform they are passionate about and actively promote.

14. Are there non-compete contracts?

No. Exemplary Titleholders may compete in or participate with other pageants as long as they continue to support and promote Exemplary Pageants.

15. Is Exemplary Pageants a licensed business?

Yes. Exemplary Pageants is a licensed business owned by Rebekah Slayton, CEO and Founder.
